Harare – Quality Corporate Governance Centre launched its second annual forum under the theme of the Chairperson’s lounge
This year’s event highlighted how the organization is shaping the future of corporate governance in Zimbabwe and beyond, through its innovative training and development programs.
Quality Corporate Governance Center is a leading provider of training and development programs for corporate leaders in Zimbabwe and across Africa. It was founded in 2009, the organization has worked with over a thousand companies to provide training that meets the needs of each organization.
The organization specialize in staying at the forefront of the evolution and growth of both private and public organizations and business enterprises.
‘’We have trained over a thousand organizations including 107 state-owned companies in Zimbabwe. Our goal is to help organizations create a culture of continuous learning and growth. He added that these training programs include workshops, seminars, board inductions and board evaluations.
He also said leaders should be equipped with the right skills and knowledge on how to lead their organizations and learn to navigate the complex challenges of today’s business world.
In May, the organization hosted the Zimbabwe Young lLeadersForum which was a call to all young leaders, future entrepreneurs and trailblazers where they were taught by established leaders, to navigate the industry.
A beneficiary of Quality Corporate is the Law Society Of Zimbabwe which had a 30% increase in productivity after implementing the strategies they learned from the organization.
Through its micro-blogging site, X (former Twitter) Law Society said, ‘’Quality Corporate brought out the important areas which have been considered vulnerable in the realm of leadership for the law society in Zimbabwe, this is the way to go for all corporate leaders’’.
Quality Corporate is helping corporates to improve performance across the country. Through their training, leaders are learning how to set goals, communicate effectively and manage teams more effectively, leading to higher productivity and better results.
After training organizations and business enterprises, Quality Corporate assesses the progress and measures the effectiveness of their training
‘’We use surveys, and interviews, to gather feedback from companies and their employees. We also look at metrics like productivity, sales and employee retention to assess if there have been any changes since the training was implemented,’’ said CEO, Tendai Rusere.
