Prominent Victoria Falls businessman Paul Shambare has received three honourary doctorates from different institutes for his contribution to humanity and society.

The music promoter was awarded the doctorates from the International Institute of Philanthropy, International Women’s University and the Maverick University.

Shambare received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humane Letters, Honorius Causa (DHL) from the International Institute of Philanthropy. wholesale ivermectin

He also received an Honourary Doctorate of Business Leadership, Innovation and Maverick Leadership Degree, Honours Causa, EIML from the Maverick University.

The awards ceremony were presided over by the Maverick University president Dr Enrico Maverick.

The businessman is the founder and director of Express Cargo which specialises in customs clearing, road transport and cargo.

He also owns the Express Entertainment, a registered arts and music promotion company.

Past recipients of the honourary doctorate in Humane Letters include the late Dr Oliver Mtukudzi, Dr Rebeca Chisamba and Dr James Makamba.

Dr Shambare has been hailed for his philanthropy and working to make lives of the poor and disadvantage better.

In Victoria Falls, Dr Shambare has made various donations to old people’s homes, the poor and under-privileged families.

He has also been credited for bringing several musicians from Matabeleland North to the limelight through his Express Entertainment company.

On Christmas Day, he spend his day with inmates at Victoria Falls Prison before donating several food staffs to the elderly in the tourist resort town.
