The State of Palestine has issued a strong and unequivocal condemnation of Israel’s latest military assault on the Gaza Strip, describing it as a ruthless and barbaric act that has resulted in the tragic loss of more than 104 innocent lives — among them 46 children and 40 women.

This latest attack, which shatters the fragile ceasefire agreement established earlier this month, stands as yet another glaring example of Israel’s blatant disregard for human life, international humanitarian law, and global appeals for peace.

The Palestinian government denounced the offensive as a deliberate and calculated act of aggression aimed at inflicting maximum suffering on civilians. According to Palestinian authorities, the unprovoked bombardment underscores Israel’s continued pursuit of military domination rather than peace.

It also reveals the depth of impunity with which the Israeli forces operate, consistently violating international conventions that are designed to protect non-combatants and preserve human dignity during conflict.

Since Israel’s large-scale offensive began in October 2023, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has surged to an unimaginable 68,643 lives lost. Behind these staggering numbers are countless stories of families torn apart, children orphaned, and communities devastated.

Hospitals are overwhelmed, basic infrastructure has been reduced to rubble, and humanitarian aid workers continue to operate under perilous conditions. The State of Palestine emphasized that these figures are not mere statistics, but a reflection of the catastrophic human suffering caused by Israel’s continued onslaught.

Ambassador Tamer Almassri of the State of Palestine expressed profound outrage and sorrow at the ongoing attacks, stressing that Israel’s actions constitute a gross violation of every moral and legal boundary.

He stated that these strikes demonstrate a persistent pattern of aggression that has nothing to do with self-defense and everything to do with the perpetuation of war and instability in the region. Almassri further noted that Israel’s repeated disregard for ceasefire agreements and international resolutions highlights a deeper intent: to undermine Palestinian sovereignty and to crush any hope of peace through sustained violence and destruction.

“The world cannot turn a blind eye to this tragedy,” Ambassador Almassri declared. “Israel’s relentless military aggression against an already besieged population exposes its clear disregard for the principles of humanity and the sanctity of life. These acts are not just war crimes—they are crimes against humanity.” He called upon the international community to rise to its moral and legal obligations, urging nations and global institutions to act decisively to end Israel’s impunity and to ensure accountability for the atrocities committed against the Palestinian people.

The State of Palestine reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing every diplomatic, political, and legal channel available to bring justice to the victims of Israel’s aggression. It underscored the necessity of international solidarity, calling on the United Nations, the International Criminal Court, and human rights organizations to investigate and prosecute those responsible for the ongoing war crimes in Gaza.

Palestine also appealed for immediate humanitarian intervention to protect civilians, deliver emergency aid, and rebuild the shattered health and infrastructure systems that have collapsed under the weight of continuous bombardments.

Moreover, the Palestinian leadership reiterated that peace cannot be achieved through violence or domination. True peace, it stated, requires justice, equality, and respect for international law.

The continuous violation of ceasefire agreements, coupled with Israel’s expansionist policies and disregard for Palestinian lives, only serves to deepen the wounds and perpetuate hostility in the region.

The State of Palestine called for an urgent cessation of all hostilities and the restoration of calm. “The bloodshed must stop now,” it declared firmly. “Our people have endured unimaginable pain and suffering.

The time has come for the world to act—not with words, but with concrete measures—to uphold justice, protect human life, and end this prolonged campaign of aggression against the Palestinian nation.”
