Zimbabwe international cricketer Ben Curran has landed a new commercial deal after being appointed brand ambassador for local manufacturer Olivine Industries.

The partnership brings together the Zimbabwean international and one of the country’s longest-established household brands, with Olivine seeking to strengthen its connection with consumers while promoting local talent.

Olivine Industries Executive Director Rudraksh Somani said the partnership was based on shared values between the company and Curran.

“The partnership was founded on shared values of hard work, consistency, excellence and a commitment to representing Zimbabwe with pride,” Somani said.

Somani said Curran’s sporting discipline and growing international profile made him a natural fit for the brand.

He added: “Olivine Industries and Zimbabwe Cricket are on the same journey – a journey to make Zimbabwe great again.”

Curran, a left-handed top-order batsman, said Olivine’s longstanding presence in Zimbabwe made the partnership particularly significant.

“The company’s longstanding presence in Zimbabwe made the partnership particularly meaningful to me,” Curran said.

Under the partnership, Curran will feature in a range of Olivine initiatives as the company seeks to connect with consumers through sport.

The deal adds Curran to Olivine’s growing group of brand partners, which includes Zimbabwean international fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani and Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 Lyshanda Moyas.

Olivine, which has a heritage dating back to 1931, said the partnership forms part of its broader commitment to celebrating Zimbabwean talent and excellence.
