The burial of the late socialite Mitchell “Moana” Amuli who died in a horrific accident along with businessman Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure on November 8 has been delayed again.

The burial, which was scheduled for today, is now expected to take place in Harare or Domboshava after Moana’s parents finally agreed to lay her to rest.

Moana died with Ginimbi and two other friends Limumba Karim from Malawi and Alicia Adams from Mozambique along Borrowdale Road after a night of heavy drinking on the occasion of Moana’s birthday.

The four were coming from Moana’s 26th birthday party held at Dreams Nightclub when Ginimbi’s Rolls and Royce was involved in a head-on collision with a Honda Fit and hit a tree before bursting into flames.

Kadungure was buried at his palatial mansion in Domboshava in an eye-catching funeral that attracted thousands of mourners last Friday.

But the feud between Moana’s parents; father Ishmael Amuli and mother Yolanda Kuvawonga had delayed the process with the latter preferring to burry Moana at Zororo Cemetery in Chitungwiza, while the father wanted her to be laid to rest in Domboshava.
