After a successful tour of Mozambique, musician Jah Prayzah this Sunday stages a family show at Electric Quench, formerly Extra Mile.
The show is expected to quench the thirst of his huge fan base which went for the holidays without cheer as their favorite musician was away.
Keen Mushapaidze, Jah Prayzah’s manager, said the band will treat their fans to a music feast, entering 2020 in style.
“Last year was fruitful for us though we did not release an album as expected by a number of people, but this year we are going to release an album. At some of these shows we will throw in new songs here and there,” he said.
Mushapaidze urged people to come in their numbers to watch their musician on stage.
“We are all in high spirits because we had a very good cross over in Mozambique. Thousands came. It is also high time we say thank you to our fans for supporting us in 2019,” he said.
Already Jah Prayzah fans have took social media endorsing the musician’s first show of 2020.
They are expected to be out to prove a point at the newly renovated venue.
Spokesperson of the venue Joe Munyebvu of Joem Enterprises said they were ready to host their first show of the year.
“After renovations we have been hosting several musicians that include Alick Macheso, Suluman Chimbetu just to mention a few. This is our first show of the year and we are ready for it,” he said.
He said they were aiming to make the venue one of the best to promote township tourism in the country.
“If you can see we have improved parking, renovated the stage and we have introduced a place where children can play. We are trying to do a set up that can bring warmth to everyone. This is one way we can promote domestic tourism in the country,” he said.
