Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi asked 250 youth delegates from the 26 provinces of the DRC, to consider the Rwandan President Kagame as an enemy of peace in the country

The Head of State in front of these young people came to meet him on November 30 at the People’s Palace by invitation. of the National Youth Council (CNJ).

“About Rwanda, it is useless to look at Rwanda as an enemy. No, it is the Rwandan regime, with Paul Kagame at its head, which is the enemy of the DRC »,

“Rwandans are our brothers and sisters. And, moreover, they need our help, because they are muzzled, to free them. They need our solidarity to rid us and rid Africa of this kind of retrograde leaders who bring back the methods of the 60s and 70s”, hammered Félix Tshisekedi.

Condemning Paul Kagame’s warmongering and hegemonic ambitions, the Congolese Head of State said that the latter is one of the worst enemies of peace on the African continent.

“In 2020, we had to silence the guns in Africa. Unfortunately, we did not get there because of leaders such as Paul Kagame,” he regretted.

“And he prides himself on being a specialist in wars. Me in his place, I will hide. It is shameful and diabolical,” concluded President Félix Tshisekedi.

The remarks  come after the Rwandan president had accused his Congolese counterpart Felix Tshisekedi of exploiting the violence in eastern DRC to delay elections
