A Global Launchpad for Local Innovation

Organised globally by Silicon Valley venture capital firm Pegasus Tech Ventures, the Startup World Cup is one of the world’s largest pitch competitions, connecting high-potential founders with global capital, mentorship, and commercial scale.

At the Harare finale, all ten teams will pitch live before an expert panel of investors and enterprise executives. A single winner will be crowned to pitch on the global stage in San Francisco for a chance at the headline US$1,000,000 investment prize.

“Zimbabwe has no shortage of entrepreneurial talent or bold ideas,” said Nyasha Chasakara, Founder of Tech Hub Harare and Principal Organiser of Startup World Cup Zimbabwe 2026. “What our founders need most is direct access to smart capital, cross-border markets, and battle-tested mentorship.

Startup World Cup Zimbabwe is designed to build those bridges. Beyond crowning a national champion, our mission is to build a resilient pipeline that links local founders directly to regional and international balance sheets.”
